Wind Turbines Weather the Superstorm

It can be instances like this that prove or disprove claims by "the leading manufacturer" in an industry. Cascade is happy to say when we choose a partner, we go with the best for a reason and this year's weather shows us why... As reported by PRWeb, Northern Power Systems has announced that 74 of its wind turbines were in the path of Hurricane Sandy and were undamaged by the high winds. As a testament to the design of Northern Power’s turbines, as soon as each turbine detected Sandy’s hurricane force winds, it automatically entered safe mode.
